Mission Statement:
Judah Foundation Incorporated is a charitable organization located in Sanford, Florida. We are dedicated to uplifting and supporting individuals and families facing life’s greatest challenges, including survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, homelessness, and those in need of vital community resources. Through our compassionate and non-judgmental services, such as access to homeless resources, empowerment programs, and encouragement initiatives, we strive to help people discover their “inner me” and walk confidently on their path to success.
At Judah Foundation, we recognize the courage and strength of individuals and families, including single women, mothers with children, and those experiencing homelessness, regardless of their past. We are committed to helping people take meaningful steps toward a positive mindset, self-sufficiency, and breaking barriers on their journey to success. We believe every person has the power to create a stable environment and accomplish their goals. To support this vision, we provide access to homeless resources, individual and group life coaching, employability skills, job training, entrepreneurship training, and other essential services designed to empower, guide, and equip individuals to build lasting stability and success.
What is Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse?
Domestic Violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner. Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, psychological, technological actions, threats of actions, or other patterns of using force to persuad. people to do things that they are not willing to do.
Sexual abuse is any unwanted sexual activity where one person forces, pressures, manipulates, or exploits another without their consent. It can involve physical acts, such as unwanted touching or assault, as well as non-physical actions like harassment, coercion, or exposing someone to sexual content against their will. Sexual abuse is a violation of personal boundaries, trust, and safety, and it can happen to anyone regardless of age, gender, or background.
What is Homelessness?
Homelessness is the state of lacking stable, safe, and adequate housing. It can mean living on the streets, in shelters, temporary housing, or places not meant for long-term residence. Homelessness often results from factors such as job loss, financial hardship, family conflict, domestic violence, or health challenges. It affects individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds, limiting access to basic needs and stability while creating barriers to achieving long-term success.
At Judah Foundation Inc, we believe in the power of giving back to our community and creating positive impacts in the lives of others. Our mission is to spread joy and support to those in need through various initiatives, including our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, Christmas Holiday Giveaway, and Back-to-School Giveaway.
During our Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, we come together as a community to ensure that every family has a delicious meal to share during the holiday season. We provide free turkeys and essential ingredients to families facing food insecurity, allowing them to celebrate Thanksgiving with warmth and abundance.
Spreading Holiday Cheer
During the Christmas Holiday Giveaway, we spread the spirit of generosity by providing gifts, food, and necessities to families experiencing financial hardship. Through partnerships with local businesses and generous donors, we create memorable experiences and bring joy to children and families during the festive season.
Equipping Students for Success
Our Back-to-School Giveaway is dedicated to supporting students as they prepare for the new academic year. We provide school supplies, backpacks, and educational resources to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed in school. By alleviating the financial burden on families, we empower students to focus on their education and thrive academically.
